So I have recently put in some LEDs in my Climate controls. But they don't work. All my fuses are good and the LEDs themselves are good because I had them tested. Also the circuit board has been looked at bya professional and all the components are still good on it. Also the cig lighter led won't work. But when I take a piece of wire from the light to a ground source like the caseing on the cig lighter the light comes on along with the climate control LEDs. No idea what is wrong but I have tried everything. And also my battery is draining but just think I need a new battery. The alternator is still good. Please if you have any thing I could try please help. Thanx.

Unlike incandescent bulbs, LEDs are polarity-sensitive, ie they wont light up unless the positive wire hooks up to positive voltage source, and the negative to negative or ground.

Looks like you installed reverse polarity.
