2000 Toyota Celica GT
Just did a heater core replacement, and now my A.C.
Doesn't work except when it is set to defrost. And since the replacement water not antifreeze has been leaking all over my passenger carpet. Enough to cause a puddle. I double checked that it isn't the heater core. I took the dash back off and there is water surrounding the Evaporator core. Is there anyway to get ac back on?
The ac led does not light up when the button is pressed nor does the ac kick on, except only with the defrost setting on.
I drove from Augusta GA to Cape May NJ with it leaking but cold air from the defrost. I am selling the xar to my brother and flying back. I am thinking I will need a new evap core but I noticed I left the screws out from where the ac pipes connect to the black heat/cold air box.
Please help.
Thank you
