I have a 2002 celica gt. I do not have a remote for my keys because I bought the car used. I misplaced my keys for about a day and when I find them I attempted to start the car. Problem is the alarm system disables the engine from starting. I also notice a small blinking red light on right of the steering wheel next to the window lock button. Someone have anything I can try to solve this issue? and is it possible to unplug the fuse to bypass it? Thanks

The flashing red light means the alarm system is armed and engine is disabled.

There is usually a switch near the steering column that can defeat the engine disabler.

Look for the alarm box under the driver's dash. Jot down mfr and model number, then search the internet on how to disarm the alarm.
