So I installed the K&N Typhoon SRI and I followed it step-by-step until it told me to reconnect the hoses back to the Vacuum Switching Valve. The problem is that I dont know where these should be connected since all of these hoses were once connected to the stock air box, should I plug the closed or do they still serve a purpose?

Heres the link to the instruction sheet. http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/69-8522_inst.pdf . Look at Step #38, its where it stumped me.

Thabk you for any advice.

It doesn't really say much about the VSV (Vacuum Switching Valve), so far, I'm just letting the hoses hang out. picture below is what I'm dealing with. All those hoses are left unconnected to anything else. [Linked Image]

I have the same question years later smile. Does somebody know what to do with those hoses?
