Question. I had my stock muffler cut off and a glass pack installed because its sounds really mean, but would I need to do something dofferent to get the correct back pressure? What are some signs that the b.pressure isnt right?

none, there is enough back pressure created by the cat and the resonator. but side effects would be harder to start in the cold, takes longer to get to operating temp, possible noise citations

Yes i have just a cat on mine and its VERY loud...and you get a backfire every once in awhile... I agree its sometimes harder to start in cold temps...but i dont' drive mine in the winter so i don't know about very cold temps
