Do I understand that there are both TRD exhaust, USA and JDM? What are the differences and how do you tell them apart?

they are basically going to be the same thing.
you don't need the JDM one, the US spec will be the same.

The JDM and US TRD exhausts offer the same HP gains but are different assemblies. The US spec exhaust is nicely finished where the JDM has a raw/racing look to it.
