While I was shopping for a torque converter, a guy at newcelica.org is selling one that he had modified at "Protorque". I've only heard of Levelten that modifies 7 gen converters. Anyone know if this sounds right and wheather they put out a good product?

He says it's brand new from a new torque converter bot from toyota and is selling it w/ an auto trans cooler for $1,000 NEGOTIABLE (no sh*t). What should I offer?

ummmmm. Research Protorque first. Go on their website check there 'about us' info. Send them an email asking about their history of R&D and how much they sell, etc.

$1000. See how much you can get at the site. I think its cheaper at level10. I would ask him to drop it. Or maybe 1000 shipped. Shit. I don't know. This is just my 2 cents...reesearch a little first.
