Aside from removing the vent adjuster thingy, it shouldn't be too much work. You might need to use a dremel to widen the hole if it's not big enough. IMO, it's better to get a gauge pod for your A pillar or one that goes on your dash because running the wiring the way you'd have to with the A/C vents will be a bitch. I think Isaac's car has at least one gauge in an A/C vent...there's pictures somewhere in the gallery. Good luck though! thumbsup

Yeah go with the gauge piller, you'll probably regret taking up one of your vents when it's really really hot or cold out

hey ...

i already did install the gauge on the a/c vent...it's really easy guys...just take off the center console and drill a little hole just enough to fit the wire were the vent turns into one piece of the a/c air vent...sorry i dont have pics of the process...
here's the finish product!!

Did you block the tubing to the vent? I think you might want to take it into consideration because with the heat and cold air running through it MIGHT cause problems to your gauge, plus by looking at the pic it looks like you have a crack that runs around the outside edge of the gauge (is that not creating lots of noise?) Other than those two things looks good, it blinds in real nice with your gauge face and you chose the right vent (you'll most likely need the one by the driver side window to get rid of any frost). thumbsup
