Has anyone here put neons in there engine bay? Will the heat melt the plastic coating that is around them? Any pics?

I think if you place the neons in the right place you could avoid the plastic melting. I have some neone lights in my room and the plastic stuff seems pretty durable. But idk for sure.

i would never do that, no point, but for shows, you can just keep them as footwell neons with long wires and when your in a show, pop up the hood and put the neons there
