ok, obvisouly i've just started to get my hands on modifying my car.

i'm trying to buy an exhaust for my GT, and i've come across a very good deal on HKS HiPower exhaust.

So, as usual, i came here and searched for HKS HiPower on this forum... but i still can't decide because there are so many mixed reviews about this exhaust. While most celica exhausts get good or decent reviews, HKS HiPower seems to get many pluses and minuses... So it really confuses me..

Can anybody tell me about HKS exhaust?

and one side question. would you recommend buying used exhausts(from a friend, in my case)

Why do you want the hks cat back exhaust? IMHO, HKS did a piss poor job designing it for our car. I just dont like it and it doesn't perform up to what I think are HKS standards. go with TRD or tanabe.

There was a recall in the earlier production of hks hi power exhausts because of a faultly weld on one of the hangers that made it sound like crap.
