Ok, my brakes need new pads.

Is there any kind of mod like new rotors/pads I could do at this point for under $200? I'd like to get some new rotors, no need to be drilled or slotted, just OEM style.

Also, is it hard to change these out? Has anyone attempted this? confused

you can just machine the rotors...if you know someone that works at a shop...it only takes like 10 mins per rotor. I'de do it for ya if you lived in sd, we have the machine in our auto shop.

i have a question...

do i really need to balance the rotor so it will fit with the new pad?
cos this guy at the shop told me that when changing pad, i have to do balance so the brake wont shake over time...

if it's not true, i might as well change the pad myself without worries...
