I wanted black/gunmetal rims, but long story short, i got these. They're fine, but i was wonderin if i should go ahead and give em a powerdercoating job...so yay or nay?

try gunmetal, but only the spokes, not the rimlip

If you decide to get them powdercoated, make sure you have them sand blasted first, then powdercoated, baked, then clearcoated for the ultimate finish. Don't spend more than $60 per rim.

Ya gunmetal but have the outer lip/inner lip polished...dont know if thats possible with powdercoating...posibly having them sandblasted then having the lip polished and the spokes PAINTED gunmetal...now that would be hot

cool, thanks for the responces...but how would i go about doing this myself...i mean i've painted my plastics/calipers red by wetsanding then sparying then clear coating...how would i get the supplies necessary to powdercoat...?

Sorry for the rookie question, but i honestly don't know, and would love to give it a shot!

P.S. i think i'll go with the black spokes/polished lip/silver lugs.
