I plan on getting the ACT street clutch..anyone currently have this in their car? Because my clutch is slipping a lot lately and I need to order one pretty soon eek and for you that have aftermarket clutches..how much did you guys pay for installation?

also, I called the transmission shop and they told me that racing clutches can take the abuse but have a shorter life? i need something that will last me for a while..think the ACT street clutch would do this for me?

i have no idea..it just says its a ACT Street Clutch..im guessing its a stage 1 only because

"ACT Street Clutch Kit for 2000+ Celica GT/GTS

This clutch is rated to hold up to 233 foot pounds of torque without slipping & while being EXTREMELY streetable. The clutch is 40% stiffer than stock on the GT and 30% stiffer on the GTS. This kit includes disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing, & align tool. "

stage one is the best choice for everyday driving if you're going aftermarket.
