Hello all i just put my Teardrop exhaust on my 2000 GT the install went easy and i was really pleased with everything accept the three month wait anyways cops dont like me for some reason so i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get the silencer for it. IF you have any ideas please let me know.

cops shouldnt give you crap for a veilside exhaust its completely legal

Your setup shouldn't be too loud... cause you have resonator..
I have straight pipe with high flow cat and Veilside.. and didn't has much problem with the cop..
There was one time I got pull over for speeding and gave me a ticket for loud exhaust...
So all I had to do is fix it and sign off the ticket by another cop...
BUT I never changed it... I just went up to the cop and he said just fire it up.. so I start up the car and let it idle...
He said OK.. and signed it off...

I don't have resonator so it's pretty loud, but it's pretty deep and not so loud under 4K..

So you should be fine as long as you have stock resonator...
If you want your exhaust to be more quieter... goto muffler shop and add another resonator.. you wouldn't loose much air flow... I'm sure it's not even a noticealbe...

Oh yea.. there is no silencer for the Veilside... just need to get custom one...

actually there is. Just ask your vs distributor. cost me like 30 bucks (i think..cant remember) from my veilside distributor here. But i've been waiting for at least 2 months for mine to arrive from japan...langauge barrier between my distributor and vs in japan.

You could also try VeilSide USA or MVP Motorsports (I think they are a distributor).
