Are the front/ear rotors on the 2000 GTS the same as the 2001 GTS?

I want to buy 4 powerslot rotors (front/rear) as opposed to 2 brembo slotted 2 oem style, and thetirerack.com doesn't have powerslots for the 2000 only the 2001

is there a difference? On the powerslot site, it lists them as 2001-2003 only...

Will the 2001 rotors fit on a 2000?

ok, I shopped the price down to $270 for 4 rotora rotors.

Are these decent rotors? Better/worse than powerslot? I found brembo's, but they are not zinc plated, so they will probably rust.

~$500 to spend on rotors/pads

yeah, I am just trying to figure out if the deal is a rip.

Powerslots are more money, but they don't make a 2000 GTS rotor.

I hate toyota and changing shit during the generations angry thumbsdown

are they the best pads?

I figured I'd buy axxis since they are selling them on the Rotora site, but what is the BEST pad or street/light autox use?

I have searched EVERYWHERE and I can't find it out...supercars.net has them listed as 10.8 and 10.6 rear, and thats the same as the 03, but I've read people saying that they are different, and power slot lists their rotors as 2001-2003...

I need to get brakes ASAP I had a couple problems stopping! rice

EDIT: well...take a ruler and measure the rotor on ur car urself...i dont think it will be that hard to do?

should I spend the extra money to get rotora, or are powerslots nice?

I just don't want them to rust like my stock ones (not the rotor surface, but the top piece (the top flat circumferance)

I hate it that that shit rusts, mine looks like shit right there when i took my rim off.

if I had a choice, I would probably save for Rotora because they are much more popular and the quality is probably excellent...but it's your choice. Didn't Darren get those powerslot's?
and darkduwende has rotora, ask him how they are.

Well, I have enough money to buy the rotoras/brembo/powerslots I am just trying to decide which.

I don't want ANY rust except the surface. I HATE that ugly rust puke puke

Also, I don't want to go big brake, because that means new rims spineyes

my only problem with brembo is that their rotors aren't coated, so they will rust like the stock ones...

rotora/powerslot are coated, I think confused

I've got a line on 4 rotora rotors and axxis pads for $420 or I could go 4 rotora rotors and EBC green pads for $460

Rotoras are coated everywhere except the surface, so I like that!!

Brembo and Rotora are both coated...
the Brembo are gold I think
This front system includes one-piece slotted discs with anti-corrosive plating. All our High Performance brake systems are compatible with the vehicles original ABS system and other manufacturer's components. Disc is a 5 lug pattern.

I would most likely go with those Axxis pads, they look amazing. grin

but the EBC's look as if they have a variety for certain uses, I guess it's up to what you want.

i have axxis ultimate carbon ceramic brake pads, front and rear for my gts obviously. these things stop TOO quick!!! i love these pads, they are great for autox. while autoxing, i forgot about a sharp left 90 degree turn and entered with wayy too much speed but my brakes took care of it. go axxis!
