To get a goal whp of 400whp, is EIP tunning worth it? or going custom and just tune that kit and run 92-93 octane gas?

I heard from a friend of mine that said that it would run about 8grand for motor work...he said that he was going for 500whp..but what im thinking it would be like 12 to 13grand for even 400whp...the stage 2 is like 5grand and then upgrade to stage 3 is like another grand or 2

I've heard some bad stories about EIP. Lot of people come out of there and end up blowing engines.

The EIP turbo kit includes many more things than the XS kit. EIP rebuilds the motor for bigger hp #s. XS just simply bolts on.

Aye XS seems to be much safer though. Not to mention I've heard some bad stuff about the shop in general let aone just the turbo setup.
