some details are in my profile...

they are either 235/40/18 or 245/40/18... I dont quite remeber

...but the wheels scrape in the front all the time (slightly, but enough to make a noise during turns and doing driveways)

Isaac,
Did you have to do camber kits or anything else when you did the TRD springs.. And that is just with springs right?

If so I am really wanting some quick...

Red fades quickly... especialy when you park your car outside often

this is a trait of red that is learned by taking a class in ART grin

with the trd springs you do not have to get a camber kit, there is enough adjustment in the eccentrics that are there stock to compensate for the lowering that trd provides

Welcome to the world of TRD...unfortunately, they do not make many of the things they sell. They will test it to standards and may even contract out the work, but in reality there is not much actual TRD development in the TRD equipment.

The truth is - most manufactures have smaller guys or companies who specialize in one trait, manufacture parts for them thumbsup ... by "smaller guys", I speak of companies who don't pull the same weight as the larger ones do.

APR manufactures many parts for more companies than just their own. Sparco and Recaro also manufacture many parts for other companies (Recaro does some projects for NASA for example). Eibach, AEM and K&N does more than just TRD in the aftermarket world. I would much rather ride on Bridgestone tires than TRD/Toyota tires wave ...same goes for 3M Products... there is a saying from BASF, "We dont make the products, we make them better" rice

Its interesting reading comments from people who don't know all the facts happywink

BTW, when you buy TRD springs (Eibach) with TRD shocks (Tokico)... you get the FULL TOYOTA/TRD LEVEL 1 SPORT PART WARRANTY that doesn't come with just buying these products individually, directly from either of those two companies.

Some things are just worth the money... AND the fact that a large company such as TOYOTA/TRD stands behind the highest quality of products as to put their own warranty onto those products as TRD thumbsup

...

TRD LEVEL 1 SPORT PARTS
The first 5 digits of the TRD part number must be "00602" to be considered a Level 1 Sport Part. Part must be installed by a Toyota dealer on a Toyota vehicle and be specifically approved by TRD for the particular application.

WARRANTY COVERGE

12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date of installation on the vehicle or the remainder of any applicable new vehicle warranty, whichever provides greater coverage with the following exceptions:

**TRD offers a limited lifetime warranty feature on dealer-installed shocks and struts that becomes effective from the date the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty expires and extends for as long as the original purchasing customer owns the vehicle. The limited lifetime extension covers parts replacement only (no labor) and requires the submission of a copy of the dealer repair order as original purchase verification. This warranty claim must be submitted directly to TRD.

Conditions not warranted by TRD include: 1) Paint flaws caused by conditions such as industrial fallout, acid rain, scratches, dents, nicks, chips or other Acts of Nature; 2) Damages due to collision, accident damage, abuse and normal wear-and-tear; 3) Normal paint aging conditions.

GENERAL TRD WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS COVERING ALL TRD LEVEL 1 SPORT PARTS

The TRD Level 1 Sport Parts warranty covers not only the defective dealer-installed TRD Sport Part, but also any Toyota-warranted parts that is damaged by the defective dealer-installed TRD part.

What is Covered
Any repair or replacement which becomes necessary due to a defect in materials or workmanship is warrantable with the exception of the items listed under "What Is Not Covered."

What is Not Covered
Any repair necessitated by faulty installation of dealer-installed parts is warranted to the installing dealer. Parts used in any application for which they were not designed are not warranted.

Installation Labor Costs are not warranted for over-the-counter accessory repairs or replacements or for cars outside the time/mileage limitations of the Toyota new vehicle warranty. Please see your local Toyota dealer for additional warranty details.

TRD Level 1 Sport Part Warranty Summarized - If installed by a Toyota dealership, they will carry the balance of your 3 Year/36,000 mile warranty or a 1 Year/Unlimited Mileage warranty, whichever is greater. If installed by another shop or you install it yourself, The set carries a 1 Year/Unlimited Mileage warranty, which is good at any Toyota dealership in the United States. Either way, the unit will not void your warranty if it is properly installed, and not modified.
