I have a 03 Celica GTS-auto
1st: I am having squeaking noise from my belt (i think) and i start my car in cold weather, but it fades away as the car runs for a while...will some WD40 fix the problem? will those belt come from the AEM pulley do the trick? (if so, im putting on the AEM pulley)

2nd: I just installed my ECS Green Stuff front brake pads today, and the noise when i step on brake got a lot louder than stock ones...will the noise go away as i drive the car more and break in the pads more? cos i dont have my rotor turned when I install the pads...(i dont think turning the rotor is neccesary)

plus~~I installed my AEM CAI today also!! damn the sound is bad ass!! especially when i hit lift eek eek sounds like a beast eek

1) Don't use WD40. Kragen, Autozone and Pepboys sell a spray can called "Belt Dresser" that is for squeaky belts. Either that or take it to the dealership and get the technical service bulletin done.

2) Your new brakes probably squeak for 1 or both of the following reasons. They might be of a metallic compound or because you didn't use brake grease which goes in between the inner and outter anti-squeal shims.

Yup, or a small pebble stuck in between the disc and dust pan while i had my falken azenis on. it happened right after an autox run which is when my tires were warm and picked up the rock off the ground and some how it ended up in between that area.
