My room mate just bought himself a 1986 Supra with a 7M-GE.

Needs a lot of work (including putting the engine in it), but it's gonna be fun. Here's some pics.

Yeah, that's the car that the engine is sitting in right now. BTW, this supra is targa-top, has electronically controlled damping force, and a 5spd to go with it's 7M engine. The best part is that we paid $1000 for it, and it will be running as soon as we put the motor in it.

I owned a 88T, your best bet is to goto www.jarcoinc.com [jarcoinc.com] and buy a 1jz-gte 5spd front clip. I had the money to do this, but not the time. The 1JZ-GTE puts out 280 hp stock, the first thing thats gonna let you down with that engine is the stock ceramic turbos. You can put a boost controler in and the engine will easily produce 300hp on the stockers, you can order and new header from japan and just buy a larger single turbocharger. Pretty much for exhaust work, get a high-flow cat and take it to a muffler shop and have them do everything from the headers on down. Check out the forums on Suprastore.com under the 1jz board in the mk3 section.
