how are you hooking it up? doesnt it need a 12v power source to run? do you have a custom stereo in your ride?

I got a pannasonic cdx 802 cd player
and TM-701L LCD screen.

The cdplayer is connected to the toyota cables througt iso connectro.

The +12V for the LCD screen are connected to red +12V cable (the same as CDplayer is connected to)

The ground for the CD player is througt ISO and for the LCD is an 8 square cable direct from car body.

I use standard toyota speakers. 4 front 2 rear.

I do not have any other stereo units in the car and the cdplayer does'n have any interference.

So I got ony the waves on my screen
(the horizontal lines when the engine is turned on)

Can you help me?

If I don't answer to your question just say, ( my english is not a 100% good) smile Hope you understand...

So I hope you can help me.

okman try this...i wonder if it is the same as it is with a stereo install. Run your 12v power wires off of your fuse box. keep it away from the stereo. find a fuse in the fuse box and tie your power for the LCD around one of the fuses and put it back. make sure that the fuse doesnt have constant power or your screen will stay on the whole time. you need one with power on only when car is running. you can check this by putting it into the fuse for your headlights...then turn your headlights on and then your screen and see if it works...try that ...later

I am not sure what realy are you lokking after but

I connect the + wire from my lcd to the + wire from orginal toyota wires whitch are for car audio.

the - wire is from car body.

so the cd player and lcd are connected parall to eachother, but the waves come even if my cdplayer is turned on.

Is this what you ware asking for?

I would first make sure you have a really good and solid ground (-) connection. Because a loose connection could cause the lines.

Also try hooking up the LCD by itself. In other words unhook the stereo and just run the LCD. If you dont have the lines then you know it is the stereo giving you the interferace. Is so, try running the lcd off of another fuse like the cig lighter or something.

If you still get the lines then you need a Alternator Noise Filter or Electronic Suppressor.

Go a couple of items down this page to get a idea. Your local auto store or electronics store should be able to hook you up.

Hope this helps thumbsup

Oh this is one thing not to go cheap on.

Same things happened to me.
I use DC-DC converter to stabilize power supply for resolving it.

I bought them in electrnic parts shops in Japan. I think you can buy them in your country, because they are very common electrnic products.
