Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Does anyone know of a way to make a ground wire kit?

I wanna use a heavier gauge wire etc...has anyone ever tried this? If so did it help at all?

i am pretty sure the wire kit i got from happies (in the installs section) was a 4 gage wire. i'll verify this tomorrow when i check my oil, but for logistical purposes i think a heavier gage would be somewhat difficult to place on the points where you attach them. especially the left side of the cylinder head where space is limited and you have to attach 2 wires to 1 point. i am thinking you might be better off with happies kit, i am 100% satisfied...plus the money you would spend on wire, and gold connectors, etc. it might be more expensive to a certain degree. I tested the resistances from the attach points before the kit and then after and a drop ranging from .4-.6 ohms was obtained over the various points...just some info

not worht doing your own, just get it off ebay
