Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Need advice on an amp

I have two 800 watt subs, single voice coil, audiobann, I need a sugestion for an amp, all the stores i go to push me in differnt directions and i need some advice. This is being given to me for my birthday, so it has to be at a retail store that we could pick it up at, if thats possible... Plus how much should a single amp/ amp kit cost? and a 1 farad cap?

how much is this person plannin on puttin out. Best Buy carries Rockford Fosgate amps that are pretty good, just go to any Best Buy or Circuit City, or any kind of audio place that specializes in car audio and listen to the amps ur self and the people there will know enough to help you make a decision

Any one know the street credit on the brand "spl" i found a 1600 watt amp from them at the flea market (from a responsible dealer who does have a retail store) just want to get some details before i buy (by the way hes selling it for 190, (sweet deal i believe))
