I was rolling up to car toys get some materials for a grounding kit, and there was this blue wrx in the parking lot (a kid who goes to my school, rims, carbon fiber spoiler, tint) a very nice car, and the entire front end was fucked up, but seemed driveable, on my way out from car toys i talked to him for a little bit, "he hit some gravel, and slid into a truck" the truck wasnt there, but i bet nothing happed to him (look in my profile, samething has happend to my car, except it was a tree, and it was a worse'er crash. His air bags didnt deploy or anything. just a fucked up hood, I wonder how much its gonna run for a fix up, atleast now he can go carbon fiber...

I got in a wreck once and it looked like only my hood needed to be replaced, but believe me, it messes shit up under the hood. Chances are, he'll need more than the hood, unless he got really lucky and slid under the truck somehow.

they are par with most other metal hoods. (better than fiberglass). if you lift your hood up, underneath you will see the support network and how it is meant to "crumble" in an accident.

I thought the WRX was built to aviod crashes, it is AWD...

Sounds like another kid driving too fast and getting into an accident.

Makes everyones insurance go up, so no sympathy from me. Learn to drive thumbsdown
