I want to paint my brake calipers red and i was wondering if i should paint the center hub area red as well or will it look nasty? should i just paint it silver? i believe isaac painted his calipers red and the hub area silver am i right? What should i do? Suggestions and/or pics will help thanx

I painted my calipers only, I didn't want to go overboard painting everything.

I did my calipers red at first, but the hub area looked so bad that I went back and painted them silver. That combo looks really good tho imo... thumbsup

ya, i was thinking of painting them silver because it looked gross but then thought that no one is gonna complain, but i reconsidered (starting it tommorow)

is there different kinds of red's out there to paint them with? Those of you who painted yours red.. what kinda of red did you use and which looks better??

i used a can of Dupi Color high heat spraypaint (you can get it at autozone for like 5 bucks).Its really strong and resists heat and crap. But if you are gonna brush paint it use the cap becuase i put my paint in a paint bucket and it ate right through it. I will post a pic of the can up soon

just make sure you use "high heat" red versions..otherwise you'll be soon repainting them.

imo, i would just paint he calipers.

i saw a car with the saft rim thing painted, it looked alright, it makes it stand out a little more
