Has anyone figured out how to change the reverse beep to light up the "R" in the LCD in 6 speed trans cars?

I think the person gave up a long time ago. As there are only 3 posts for this member in just under a year.

gt's dont beep when you back up because they have a standard 5 speed manual. In the gts the reverse gear is where first normally would be therefore if you thought you were going in first you might jam it in reverse and slam the car behind you. Even though they have it I still managed to almost smash the car behind me the first day I got the car.
