for those of you who use the 'avoid highways' feature on mapquest as often as i do, u'll be disappointed to to find out that they friggin got rid of it angry this really sucks because this feature was my only saving grace for my hatred of rush hour traffic.

on the bright side for you fellow motorists out there, there is a site (ironically powered by mapquest) called rv.net [rv.net] that still has this feature. i hope this proves useful to those of you who enjoy the windy roads of a good journey, rather than a boring path to the destination thumbsup

They also go rid of the AERIAL view... which was great for planning exactly what house to pickup a friend at, just by looking for the drive-way... or looking for a store, just by looking at the parking lot out front or how many buildings the shop is down from... especially when you cannot see the numbers in MOST areas thumbsup
