Ok I just took off my factory TRD action package wing and have noticed that there are more than just the mounting holes under the wings base. I am buying the APR GTC-200 and it does not look like it will cover the holes up. I am buying the one for the celica but, it does not show anything that will cover these holes up.

Does anyone know...

That's cool that this topic was started, I'm really thinking about removing my TRD wing. I really like the clean lines of the celica without a wing. Nothing decided yet but at least I know what to expect when I remove the wing. tongue

Find a wingless friend and trade rear hatches, then you won't have to worry about filling in the holes grin

trd must have taken notes when they attended the 'how to avoid theft of spoilers' class and its sequal: 'how to keep trd spoilers from being replaced by other competing spoilers'

I would have never guessed that Toyota uses two nut to hold each side of the wing on but, they drill in 3 more holes per side...

Makes you wonder if the car originally came from the factory with that spoiler, or if it was a dealer-installed option.

It was wired like factory.. All the connections were covered in foam and the holes were all painted on the inside showing that it came from the factory like that...

there's a godd chance it wont line up, i just dropped off my car to the body shop and hours later they said they needed to drill some new holes. i got the JSP mini-scorpion spoiler, it looked as though it was gonna fit fine but turns out it didn't.
