Hey, i am new to the forum and am finding all of the information very useful. However, i do need help with one thing. My rear right tire or wheel is making this wierd squeeking/whistling sound, and the noise pulsates, it is not constant. It has only done this recently, any ideas as to what it could be. I recently bought the car so carmax will fix it for free, but i would like to know what is wrong.

If it's not constant I would be enclined to say brakes as well. But springs could also be the culprit. Good call on bringin it in, if it is the brakes you wouldn't want to warp a rotor!

Maybe the bearings need to be repacked. My Celica had a pulsating "wha wha" sound and Toyota and myself thought it was the bearings. It was in the rear right too. If not I go with the brakes also.
