ok i just got my celi few days ago now i thought it would be easy to drive cus i had a dodge stratus 5 speed and i got driving that down like nothing i was great at it but now on my celi it feels different why is that? the gears are harder to hit(by the way everything is stock) i was thinking maybe cus the car has not moved a lot since it was parked on the dealer for so long is that the way it is and how can i make it go alittle softer and the stick alittle shorter? some one told me to get the TRD short shifter whould that help? and where can i get one and a good deal on it?

Congratulations!

I dont understand, do you want to make shifting smoother and or the shift knob to be shorter?

You can get smoother shifting by lubing your shifter links in your engine bay under your ECU. Do a search on that.

You can also get smoother shifting by replacing your transmission fluid with redline's MT90 transmission oil. It makes shifting much more smoother!

As for the height of the shifter, you can get a short shifter. A short shifter basically replaces the shifter shaft with a smaller one. TRD, TWM, B&M and OBX make short shifters for our ceilcas.
