I just found this today thumbsup I dunno if it's a repost but here's the link Stainless steel brakes [stainlesssteelbrakes.com]
It comes with all the hardware and a 1 piston caliper mounted on a 12" slotted rotor. I'm gonna email them and ask if the rotor will rust smile

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been looking for a wrecked celi for the past 3 months & so far no luck. If I don't find one by the time I get my tax refund, I'll just order these, but I don't want the rotor, I wanna go with brembo or TRD.

Sorry, that kit is merely a rotor and caliper upgrade for GTS Celicas. To convert a GT to rear disks, you will still need all the parts off of the GTS. frown

I've never understood why Toyota won't just put disks on the both models. You'd think it'd be more cost effective in production to keep as many things the same on both cars as possible. Same way I don't understand why the GT cloth seats are different (and nicer thumbsdown) than those in the GTS. confused

they are talking about converting their rear drums on their GT model celicas into more functional disc brakes such as the gts comes with.

fromt the factory:

gt comes with ventilated front disc brakes, rear drums
gts comes with all for disc brakes (front 2 are ventilated, rear 2 are solid disc)

I think this kit comes with everything to convert everything. It says that it comes with a caliper & rotor & all the hardware necessary.
