What is it with decals and all that shit. I just got a new 2004 Celica GTS and I plan on taking all the toyota logos off and I'm not going to be putting anykind of wording on it. Maybe I'll put a Vinyl on it (without wording).

Am I the only one who hates decals on cars?
i dont get it. ur saying that you hate decals of all kinds (which i do also), but then your saying that you want VINAL on your car. thats even worse than most decals.

When I say Vinyls I'm talking about ones that are basic designs that practically look like a part of the car. Decals to me are little obstructions to the sleekness of a car.
It seems like debadging is for GT owners who are ashamed they don't own a GT even though the only performance differance is at high RPM and illegal speeds.
As for decals well.. that's pretty cheap, my car is an 03 and I have no factory decalling..it's badged though.

hey man, whatever you like on your car, more power to you.
I intend to keep my car clean looking, so graphics of any sort are being kept to a minimum, although, I have considered some chrome graphics or signal-type stripes on the side of the car, but I'm still just considering it at this point.
BTW I'm not debadging the car either, it looks okay with factory emblems, so why bother.

uh . . .
I'm confused too...
he means that GT owners are more likely to debadge because they are ashamed of not having a GTS...
but that's dumb..
debadge if you like, some like the cleaner look.. I like the emblems on the back
Hmmm...I just have a windshield banner that says "CELICA" in white, and my car club's name on my back window. I don't really care, I like mine Of course, I debadged.
wtf is wrong with owning a GT, you can mod it to be just as fast as a gts...
