Some of you guys need to learn what eBay is. eBay doesn't sell these items to people, eBay only provides a place to buy/sell things online.

If someone gets fucked on a car deal or on a product that they bought in a mall, do they say "Goddamn Federal Government" or "Fucking Missouri (or whatever state you bought it in) does it again."

If you have a complaint about a product on eBay, take it up with the person selling it, or just fucking ignore it or don't buy it from the person. And you know the funny thing is that some people would think that they would be getting the hood for a good deal before looking at the shipping cost, so why shouldn't business men/women try to take advantage of morons that have half a brain in their head and buy stupid shit off of eBay. If I wanted to post links to eBay auctions that were bullshit, I could fill up this whole forum with links. We all know it's there. It seems that the only stupid people are the people that buy the items or point them out.

IBTL.

tell them you live in a cave and have no mailing address and coming to pick up the part in 2 hours.
theyll probably go like "no sir, the hood is too big, it cant be picked up personally, it has to be mailed"

i think the bid is on the shipping fee, not the price of the hood.

thank you, slidr. i liked it better the last time you said it though, so PLEASE let me quote you...

"I swear, some of you people should exercise some thinking every now and then. It's not eBay selling the shifter. It's a person. And what do you expect to get for that little money? Pure shit. You get what you pay for.

And BTW, it's not an eBay short shifter, it's an off brand, made in someone's basement for a few bucks shifter. I swear, some people are really stupid for buying shit for so cheap that they think they are getting a deal instead of buying a piece of shit.

If you can't buy stuff from eBay with success, then I don't even recommend buying anything unless it comes from a store. IMHO, all it takes to buy stuff off from eBay is common sense. Were you expecting to get a quality product for paying so little? Common sense, plain and simple. You either don't have it or choose not to use it.

Also, look into buying a performance chip off of eBay for your car also. They add like 10 hp throughout the power band. Use your head. It's not eBay selling these shitty products to people, it's people who make money off of stupid people buying their shitty products."

It just still gets to me that people blame eBay for all of their mishaps that took place on their site. I think eBay is a great place to buy/sell stuff, but some people do try to screw people when selling things, but the number of bids on the item usually reflects how most people feel about it. For instance, if I am selling a pair of headlight bulbs and I set the price for the item at 1 cent, and the shipping at $19.99, I doubt that anyone will bid on my item. The latter was actually taken from an auction on eBay, and yes, people do try and pull that shit. Not mainly because they are trying to trick people but rather because eBay charges you different fees for the item price that you start your auction at. So if I am going to sell a Carbon Fiber hood on eBay, I'm gonna try and keep the item price as low as possible when I start the auction, because eBay charges you accordingly. They don't charge you for how much you charge for shipping because they don't expect you to make money off of that, but almost 99% of people online make money off of shipping, and you just don't see that only on eBay.

There are a lot of people that try and make a living off of selling shit on eBay, and I don't see how most of them do because no one places bids on their items. But anyways, if you are looking to buy shit off of eBay, just do your homework and you should be alright. Just exercise caution the same way you would when you buy stuff in the world offline and you should come out on top. If it's too good to be true then it usually is.
