you should be able to do it, it will probally take longer then a CAI though. I am waiting for the Funds to get a DC Header for my GTS, and I will be installing it myself.

be sure to torque the bolts to spec on the header. Ever looked at how tight a space you will be working in? Of all the mods to do yourself i think this would be the hardest.

Have some friends help you, makes it a lot easier. k, i will, but does the OEM header have a senser in it? and if so is there a whole to put it in in the hotshot header?

There is no sensor in the header. It is a fairly easy install, just time consuming. So be patient with it.

yep, its just really time consuming, and those heat shields are a b*tch to get out. on the gts, you have to get the header out from the bottom.. you have to drop/unbolt the engine cradle and push it a bit foward to allow enough room for the stock header to come out so you can put the new header in.
i heard that for the gt models, you can take the valve cover off and you will have enough space to take the header out from the top. but thats just what i've heard/read.
good luck on the install.

its time consuming. i found it to be very easy to install if you pull your axle. with the axle pulled, it opens up a lot of space bottom side and its very easy once the axle is out.
