Took my car into Daytona Toyota today with a few minor problems.
1. Squeeky Belt 2. Mis shifting problems 3. Squeeky shifting linkages
Jackie, the service manager, took great care of my car! gleaned out the tranny, and serviced the clutch, and more ploblems with it and they said they would replace the clutch! (nothing like a free clutch) replaced the belt tensioner again, and lubed up the linkages. had the car back in under three hours. if you are in need of warranty work and near daytona, this is by far the best toyota dealership i've been to.

see just complain at dealer ships and get your way
lol the toyota dealerships around me are hungery for customers. my parents and i went to go and fix my mom's sienna and when we entered the lot, all of a sudden 3 salesmen were on us and showing us around their cars.
I think that there are two types of auto-mechanics out there now days. 1: the kind that tells you that there are a million other things that are wrong with your car, and don't tell you that they are 'recommends' and 2: The type of place that explains what they did and why they did it. You can tell a lot about a place just buy talking to an employee. If you pretend that you know nothing about cars and ask them a really easy question and they come up with a bogus answer, find another shop. I had a friend that got his transmission replaced 3 times no questions asked. (bad trans.) That's what i call good service!
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.
