Ok, Toyota is going to get my transmission again cause another syncro is going out. I know a dealership that is going to just replace the tranny. While its out i think i might get a LSD put in. Who all makes LSD's for the celica. I know trd makes one and some other company that starts with a "q". I'd like to know which ones are good and what the prices are gonna be. I've heard they make a drastic improvement on the "funness" of the ride. Open to opinions. I already have a TRD clutch, and i don't think a lightened flywheel would be worth my money.

TRD as you know makes 1 and then there are many others some I'm probably left out. Don't forget about Phantom Grip. Click on all these =

ok, phantom grip is cheap compared to the others, but it looks like a conversion not a new diff. Does anyone have that phantom grip that can vouch for its effectiveness and quality?

I just put a fidanza flywheel in my gts. it rev a lot quicker than stock. for the money a great performance piece
as far as lsd. I would go with quaife. life time warranty and good for corners. IT not a clutch type like the trd one

the flywheel does not increase performance once you are driving only when you are reving before launch, etc.

with the flywheel you lose a little torque. but the gains as far as hp a far greater. rotating mass equals torque. but less mass equals more horsepower. It helps acceleration less mass your crank has to spin. and it's easy on your syncros also. less weight for them to slow down

Go with the TRD. You can't go wrong with the TRD Japan LSD.

trd is a clutch type. Will wear with time, around corner They aren't the greaster. Call Monkey Wrench racing in detroit and talk to them they have installed both.
