I was talking to a machinist at the race shop I go to here in Atlanta...and at random we got to talking about stroking an engine...the 1zz already has a long stroke of 3.60"...now, what if one were to have a custom ground crank say 4", along with a custom made oil pan, and custom length rods from crower with the MWR big bore wiseco pistons...the MWR Wiseco pistons and big bore kit take it out to 2.0 L, by boring the cylinders out to about the same size as the GTS cylinders...what displacement would one have if you were to do the 2.0 big bore kit (82mm / 3.23"), and a 4" stroke??!!!??!!!?!?!?! eek eek...

it comes out to 131 cubic inches...whereas stock is 109 cubic inches...I think it comes out to like 2.146.8 cc's = 2.1 L that's + pretty decent displacement upgrade!!!!! eek eek shocked...EDIT: wrote mine the same as darren wrote his

^^^ exactly...I just got off the phone with a company I 've used before in creating a custom stroker kit...I told him to put something together for not only the 1zz but the 2zz too because there is a market for it... My last vehicle was a dodge dakota, that I stroked and boosted (which is why I don't want to play with boost anymore )... I got a custom billet forged stroker crank, custom forged scat H-beam rods, and custom forged lower compression pistons (I think they were JE) all with full arp hardware for $2,895 eek!!!!!...so if they could come up with something that is around the same price it would be awesome!!! especially since the 2zz stroker from trial is entirely too much money...and everyone asks about it...I was looking into a full 4" stroke...and he is hunting down the measurements, and what not for the engine now...

torque is good...

What would be the new compression then? Wouldnt you need to build up the heads also to be able to handle the higher compression? This is a good idea but will no be cheap in my book. It would be very benafitial for celicas because of the major increase in torque!

I think MWR already has a stroker kit out for the 2zz.
