This is the 3 button remote security system with dual stage shock sensor. I had it installed aftermarket courtesy of Toyota dealership. Its no Viper, but it doesn't cost as much either.
The remote battery died and I was locked out of my car and I used the key and the alarm went off. Then I couldn't turnover my engine because of the alarm. Its good for what its supposed to do, even keeping out its own driver.
I was supposed to learn about the Valet manual override, but it was burried in the long manual with small print.[color:red] Its a great alarm and I would recommend it to anyone.[/color]
