Hello all,
Totally new to the forum, looking for a Celica 2000-2004 Action Pack GT or GTS Spectra Blue, in like new condition.
Something with 500 miles of Harrisburg PA. Maybe consider farther depending on the car. Also like the supra, but not the price, not able to put out 30K + so I settle for the Celica.
Here are some of the options I would like according to Toyota.

> Rear Window Wiper
> Fold Down Rear Seat

> Side Impact Air Bags
> Leather Wrap Steering Wheel
Now I checked for a brand new 2004 GTS and the best I can find is $25,077. Any comments good bad, fair, indifferent. The sales rep tells me he is selling 2% above invoice, said $21,180.00 is what they pay.
Well since I'm not to trusting of dealers, I wanted to ask you experts first. I figured I could get one hell of a car for that kind of bread. Even found a 1994 Supra for $9900, but not much is factory and I need something a little more practical.
So with all that being said, looking for something that has a fairly clean look and feel. Nothing that has super mods on the engine. Again I need something I can drive on a normal road and not just on the strip.
Thanks in advance for any help.

25k for 2004 action package GTS? if so that sounds fair, you can try to bargain more though never hurts to try, i got my non action package brand new for 22k so that sounds good
Also we gotta know approx. what your budget is. Your best bet to get help is to look in the classifieds, find a car that looks good, then let us know the details (mileage, price, options, GT vs. GTS, etc.) Another good place to visit is www.kbb.com [kbb.com], where they can tell you the approximate price of a used car.
Wow I had no idea there where two action packages, I think I like the 2003 better. Hmm
Price wise, well you already know I was looking at new, but price will depend on the car I think. Just want something that is really nice, the pic above is a 2003 GTS Loaded 22K dealer. Maybe that's high, not sure.
GT or GTS is fine, options must have some form of action package or body kit. The rest is listed above. Could always add more later, some mods just not over kill.
Something that looks clean, like my fav car if I had the money. Attached.
yea that blue one is a good deal i got my 2003 for 22k non action package in 02 and that one seems to have the HID headlamps and the body kit for 22k i'd jump on it
^^^^ thats a very good find! Make sure ther is nothing wrong with it, get the VIN number and check online to make sure it's not a "lemon". Otherwise that is a very good deal considering it's a GTS Action Package. Hope you find one soon. IF i were you i'd test drive a celica near you first just incase you drive all that way and dont like them...but then agian who doesn't like driving the celica
I test drove a 2002 with kit and even a matching blue neon kit, was $18,995. Sales guy was real pushy and this was the first one I drove. Had the car overnight, hey they said want to keep it for the night, I'm like sure.
Now I wish I would have bought it.
However is was all dinged up and one dent was in a fold of the body, not sure I could get that out. A doctor owned it and he traded it for a Spider, met the guy what a dick, but his Girl what a sweetheart. Go figure that one out.
But anyhow, so I get the for not buying it anyway.
Anything else out here guys, can't wait to much longer been looking since April. After that 2002 I was sold on the Celiac w/AC Pack what a nice car for the money. And I'm old compared to most of you out here. First car was a AMC motors Green Hornet.
Good News -- Vehicle qualifies for the CARFAX Buyback Guarantee! No severe problems (major accidents, fire, flood damage, major odometer problems or lemon history) were ever reported by a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for this 2004 TOYOTA CELICA GTS.
If you find that any of these severe problems were reported to a DMV and not included in this report, CARFAX will buy this vehicle back.
Which one "My Sixth Gear" the 2003 GTS Leather 23K Miles, Loaded $20400 or the 2004 GTS Loaded, no leather under 5K miles $19,700.
Plus the 2004 is 1000 miles from here and the 2003 is 123 miles from here. The 2004 is all but new, the 2003 has a few dings and scratches, dealer said they will get them all out and I will not be able to tell.
the 04 is basically what i wanna get... spectra blue gts wit cloth seats sunroof and stuff... id carfax the 03 and if its clean then id jump on it... you can bargain for a better price because they'll still make profit... you dont need leather that bad since it can burn the hell outta you on hot days
OK, on Autotrader, I turned up a new Spectra Blue GTS in Henderson, NV, zip code 80914 (right near Las Vegas). The contact name is Jim Donahue. From the pics on Autotrader, it looks like is got an action package. The phone # given on Autotrader is 1-866-488-7565, and the contact name is Jim Donahue, at Findlay Toyota. Yeah, this is a long shot, and probably doesn't help, but you never know, they might be willing to ship it out there (don't know about how much it would cost, or if Toyota would give you a break on it). Of course, it could be gone by now too. Sorry, I live out west, and can't help you much.
But do search for cars on Autotrader, it works (for used and new). I sold my old Saturn on Autotrader; got the offer within 2 hours of placing the ad, and sold it for exactly what I asked! (OK I was also a little lucky)
Get this the first one with leather has frame damage . The dealer just called they were checking everything out before I was going to look at it.
Wow now I'm a little worried when dealing with something 100's of miles away. Oh and the Car Fax report came back clean, so they said they must have paid cash for the work and that's why the report didn't show anything.
They are sending it to the Auction House and will not be selling it.
Ok guys here the last one I found and it is final decision time. Brand new still in the showroom. Fully loaded 2004 GTS everything you could want from the factory is here.
WOW!...Where is this dealer at?...that's tight TRD Action package celica!...How much they asking for it! this is the one i'm looking for but in super white! good luck are you getting it!
