Is there any tweaking that can be done with the sensors or ECU? Also, is there any way to have the timing and lift kick in sooner at a lower rpm?

i guess a good solution would be a VVT-i controller much like the existing v-tec controllers available for hondas and acuras which allows them to set the timing and lift from inside the cabin but as far as i know none are available for vvt-i engines. Though a rumor is spreading in my town that Venom is making something of the sort and that a blue celica over here has it. but i dare not confirm it because i haven't seen it. but if you want to investigate the matter, share the knowledge.

so far...the closest device to do it is the apexi power fc. it's not cheap though...and i just heard that it will not work for autos.
