hey im looking for a turbo kit for my 2001 gts i read in turbo mag that that blitz has made one but id like to find out some prices and specs on it and check it out any ideas or info would be appreciated thnx

there isnt a turbo out for the gts yet, although xs has come out with one that should be for sale shortly. if you go to www.newcelica.org [newcelica.org] it has the dyno. with the turbo that was tuned at xs it puts out 267 to the wheels at 7psi on stock internals. the word from xs is that with lower compression at 15psi, you can run 315 to the wheels. pretty fuckin rad stuff. but if i got the turbo from them i would have it tuned at their shop, because they also lower lift to about 5800 so you have a longer powerband. i heard its not out til may or june. something like that. but do a search on newcelica.org

yeah, i read about that too..cant wait for that kit to come out..better start saving now..hehe..so, say if i want to increase boost, i should lower the compression ratio, right? and how do i do it? replace my pistons to low compression ones?
