NSX for the simple fact, if it was 'handed to me' it would be worth a lot. If I ever needed money I could sell that, and get a lot more for it then the z...But I still love the z! thumbsup

Well there is a slight chance i can get one in about 6-8 months, may seem like a long time but if i want an NSX i need to start looking to find a good price since they are kinda expensive.. thumbsup

NSX, as if there was any doubt.

You guys have lost your mind. For the 55 thousand plus that it would cost to get a fairly recent NSX you could build up a sick 350Z that would out-accelerate, out-handle, out-brake, out-shine the NSX in every way. Can you just imagine a 350Z with 25 grand put into it. eek eek Unless you're just a ricer that wants the sleek look of the NSX. rolleyes

If your into "exotic" cars, you might as well get a used Ferrari. The NSX is wayyyy overpriced.

Uhhmm... He said '99 or so. You will not easily find a '96 or newer NSX for any less than $55K. Of course you can prolly find a '93 for 40K or so but who would pay that much for an 11 year old Honda?? [Linked Image from forums.maxima.org] [Linked Image from forums.maxima.org]

So hypothetically speaking, you people would rather buy a bone stock car that costs $60K than buy a car that costs $40K and put $20K worth of mods into it?? wtf wtf crazy

The purpose of getting a NSX that's has a few years on it compared to a new Z is the styling & aerodynamics, it's amazing engineering,it's a bit rare and holds exotic appeal and some may even like it's status symbol.

Where as the 350Z is a bit piggish in looks and handling, they are pretty common.

But everyone has their own taste.

And...?? That arguement is pretty weak. There is no way to justify buying the NSX over the Z other than looks and aerodynamics. With all the money you save the Z WILL beat the NSX around a track and in a straight line. This is hopeless ohboy

from a NSX point of view: wut's 350Z?? Z? is that with 350hp?? never heard of it~ laughsilly

from a Z point of view: shit...im ashamed to be even produced... and im ashamed to be metioned by people when there is NSX...i dont deserve to be mentioned...im not even a dust comparein to NSX~

u get the point... not even the same class.
NSX all the way around the world.

and no i would not sell my NSX and buy Z...if im forced to buy another car i wouldnt buy Z...and if im forced to buy Z id kill myself.

NSX. guess im just a ricer then. wtf he didnt even mention anything about modding it, just which one we would choose. and since when did interest in looks (albeit slightly superficial) have anything to do with being a ricer (unless you are referring specifically to appearance mods)? and arent people on here (as well as in the real world) always referring to the celicas looks?

You all are missing the point. I truly hope the original poster isn't asking which car we'd rather have stock for stock. If that's the case [Linked Image from forums.maxima.org]. THE OBVIOUS ANSWER IS THE NSX HANDS DOWN.

But in the REAL WORLD where money is a factor (DUH!! slap ) I don't know who in their right mind would rather buy a $50K+ used NSX over a ~$30K 350Z and mod the shit outta that bish with the money you saved if those were the only two choices you had. The NSX has to rank in the top 5 of the most overrated "exotic" cars for it's price tag.

Hmmm... let's see. 550+ WHP 350Z with JIC FLT-A2 coilover suspension setup, stand-alone engine management, Brembo 13"+ big brake kit with 4-piston calipers all the way around (as if the stock brakes arent already good enough), rolling on 19's with a full body-kit, running 11's in the 1/4 mile, pulling 1G on the skidpad while arguably turning more heads vs. a bone stock NSX. Own3d on all counts. Too funny!!! rofl rofl

well...if i have the money and shit, id still buy NSX.

Well thinking a car is ugly is all subjective to one's tastes. But I'd feel pretty dumb if I just spent 55 grand on an NSX and got own3d around a track and in a straight line by a 350Z who prolly still paid less for his car+mods than you did for the NSX, but that's just me. It's all about Performance vs. $$. Unless you're just after the look. I can't knock you for that I guess. thumbsup Oh yah, and I edited my last post. smile

^^^ well, if i have another car to choose other than Z id probably consider that other car. BUT DEFINETLY NOT THE Z OVER NSX

since the person said NSX or 350Z, i choose NSX. who cares if the Z can mod to be faster or not...how fast can you go on the streets? 350Z is nothing comparein to NSX.

NSX is overprice. but its Performance is so balance you cant go wrong with it.
