'Sup every1! i have a 2003 super white celica with the action pack (spoiler, rear and front bumper, side skirts) and am debating whether 18's would be good for my car.i haven't lowered it so the front bumper is 8in from the ground. if i get 18's and drop it will i rub a lot when i go over speed bumps and turn the wheel? i want my front bumper to be about 6 inches from the ground so that i can get up my drive way. i want to get the exel tz-10's in white no matter what. the 18 are 7.5 wide...would it stick out to much? should i go with 18's or just play it safe with 17s

I have those exact same wheels, I have 17s. They won't stick out with 7.5 I wish I went 18s (cause it looks better). But the scoop is, 17s for performance and 18s for looks. You'll be alright if you drop it, go with the TRD or Prokit drop.

I think you made a smarter decision than you give yourself credit for, on my 95' talon's; one of them has a set of 16" and the other has a set of 17" rimms, the ride quality in the one with the 16's is MUCH smoother than with the 17"'s when you go with a larger rim size, and less rubber ride quality progressively worsens, I mean I can feel all the roughness and road inconsistencies with the 17's. OH and it's much easier to dent/damage the larger rims with less rubber.

I feel like my stock wheels are heavier. When I went to the track the other night, I was going to put my stocks on to see if that changed anything, but when I picked one up I was like damn this is heavy, then I put it next to my aftermarkets, and my stock ones were bigger. I got some low pros on my ride. I like it though.

I am going to get 17's. I don't like 18's, too big to me.
