you can clean your maf, throttle body or even the iac valve.
blue bomber (new member here but VERY informative on another site) did a write up after his friend experienced all the problems many celi owners had. every method to resolve the issue, excluding taking it to a dealer, was done. replacing the iac valve was a last resort. there are basically 2 methods of removing the iac valve. 1 without removing the throttle body and the other by doing so. either way, though, coolant will spill. do a search on new celica for his write up or try pm'ing him here.

after he "fixed" the CEL problems with CAI's people still had problems... and their CAI's were hacked to peices
I have seen many positive reviews of the cai mod, and maybe one negative (and I think he didn't hook everything back up right). I don't know Bomber personaly but he has been a good source of information.
