When ppl ask me what kind of car i drive i give them this. "I drive a 2002 Spectra Blue Mica Toyota Celica GT, its a very cute, sweet, and innocent car." (I then continue with) "Celica, what does it mean? Its derived from the spanish word meaning "heavenly" or "celestial"
i tell them i have a hyundai accent and badged toyota celica on it...if they ask that question when i'm standing in front of my car they don't know cars to begin with...if i'm not standing by my car i tell them i have a ford escort...just because...
I say fastest n/A 7th generation celica GTS on any of the major online forums. It's a 2000 6spd with minimal mods and even though it's not pretty everyone envies it

if my car had a lot done to it, it'd be tempting to start listing the mods, because when people here "celica" they probably aren't thinking of a really fast / hot looking car.
Toyota Celica...and then they say "how old are you" and I say "old enough to drive whatever I want to thats gonna stomp your POS." j/k, I just laugh If I get told that.
A lot of people (guys in fact) don't know a lot about cars, its surprising. I have been stopped at numerous lights and have been asked what kind of car I drive. A guy on a harley asked and some guys in a mustang, among other things. When I say Celica they just say...thats a sweet/awesome/cool/insert word here car.
Once I had the guy at the boarder to canada ask me how I could afford my car, he thought it was a lambo , lets just say he wasnt the brightest crayon in the box, its scary the ppl they hire

People just aren't too bright. Twice I had people think my Miata was a Porsche Boxster
Oh yeah, then there was the guy who asked if my Celica was on sale to the public yet. This was last January.

ya i had this girl come up at school and kiss my car. . and ya hardcore american muscle car owners say its a girl car...o well i get laid because of it..i think it has to do with the headlights (eyes) like a snake almost just brings you in 4 the kill because i have plenty of people just stare and almost head straight on into me
