I was showing a girl I work with my TRD plate, and various other TRD stuff on my car, and she says "Why does your car say 'TURD' on it?" She isn't your typical Celica or import hater, but she loves the Mustang. Has anyone else ever heard that comment? Just thought I'd share

My girlfriend mocks us buy saying "So did you get any new TURD parts for your car yet?" Shit like that. I do my little sarcastic "Ha ha" and tell her to get me another beer.

yea i have heard when they say turd, but who cares... i think TRD and STi are the coolest initials for manufacturers parts. funny cause in french, if you read STi, it's pronounced "ESTI" and it's a vulgar word in french. i keep telling my friend (who has 2003 sti) tho that it's cool cause everytime he'd smoke someone, he'd be cursing "ESTI!"

Manfucator Performance name brands sure are odd..
TRD, Mugen, Spoon, Nopi.. well TRD isn't that bad because it's just initials. Although RUF is it's own company they still offer a lot of things for Porsche owners that act like a tuner name brand, it's kind of weird.
