yeah bro...that's AMAZING!!! MY only questions are how is your tranny holding up to that?...I thought the GT tranny's gave out at 250 HP...also...how long was your car down once they started the build?

Thanks skoof for the kind words. I actually got 40 more HP out of this than what I had expected. I never thought I would be able to hit the 300whp mark, I was kinda just shooting for the 300 horse power at the flywheel. But as far as a price goes I have under 10k in it. I didnt expect it to get as high as it did, I just was going to throw the Turbo on stock internals but i spun a rod bearing and the engine had to be rebuilt anyways. The project took about a year, ran into many many problems but all is good now,, VERY VERY fun to drive!!

LOL a friend of mine said you propably gonna break your gearbox in a year but I don't know anything bout it tough wink I love it grin but a freakin year on building the engine is a bit to much for me smile and I don't have 10 laying around anyways smile

whaoo..a year?..ok...i could ave definitly put down the under 10 gz for it to be done..VERY WORTH IT..BUTT bot having the car for a year..That makes it very NOT WORTH IT..just my 2 cents..tell me it takes a month..and id b a happy fack-er. my car has been in the shop for almost a month now doing interior and some other stuff..and im all paranoid ..i miss my car...im like..oh man...i havent driven stick in a month..im going to forget to put it in gear or put the parking break on ..and its going to roll down a hill.kill 10 people go into on coming traffic and make the 10pm news...(no im not kidding..i seriously have paranoid problems like that..)..2marro when i pick it up im going to be like..ok..dont forget th e-break dont forget the ebreak..lol

one question dude,i notice that the hose on the valve pan cover(crank case ventilation tube) is off and is uncovered,do you run the car like that or the pic was taken when it was off.(normally i just use a rubber cap and block it.nice ride btw and i wonder if anyone noticed the 250 lb/foot of torque! and the torque curve for that matter!

I'm sure it's loads of fun cruising around on street tires with all that torque, and no traction.

Cool car nonetheless.

I give you my congratulations. I think I could get around 260 WHP NA on my GTS maybe more. I'm looking for mechanics and sponsors that will test this on my ride. If you could do it or know any one that will put up the parts, I'll be more than willing to sacrifice my Celica. Great job on the 300 + HP Celica club. Make that fool Hotchkis look twice as you pass his Celica on the track.

um I dont know why it says GT-T never paid much attention to it. Thats the dyno slip from Monkeywrenchracing not familier with the software that they are using for the dyno.

Yes, I use this as my daily driver, Ive put about 1200 miles on it since I got back so far the tranny seems to be fine.. for now that is..

I am getting about 20 mpg if I am drivinig it normally and less than that when I get on it alot.

I had my first 2 kills this weekend. Raced a fully built teg with a t3/t4 Turbo/ rods/pistons/ ect. He dynod at 327whp, took him by 3 cars in an 1/8 mile strech. Also took a 87 IROC camero by about 2 cars... fun fun!!
