yea i wanna red out my tails too. Everyone is using testors. Is it good? i want something that will last long, even when scratched. I wax my tails and headlights everytime i wax, so i dont want the paint coming off.

I just tinted my lights today. I used VHT nite shades transparent spray. Here is a pic after I tinted the lens.

As you can see they look dull and rough.
I then wetsanded the tint with 2000 grit sandpaper. Then I applied clear coat over the tint and wetsanded again. Then just finish with fine rubbing compound to bring back the shine. Here are a couple pics of the finished product.

I had the VHT sitting in my closet for like 5 years, but I think I bought it from summitracing.com or try ebay. The compound is just 3M fine cut rubbing compound and can be found at WalMart. It should look just as clear and shiny as the orignal lens after you finish.

automotive by the touchup paints and wetsanding paper. But dont forget you need to wetsand the light until it is completely smooth before you use compound.
