I drove 43K in the whole 1 yr I've had my car (it's her b-day at the end of this month thumbsup) 73K total on the car. I change my oil every 2 - 3 weeks. which is about 2500 miles. I'll prolly take it to 3500 this time cause I havent raced at the track on this oil change.

congrats on that many miles and still drivin the car thumbsup

eek wtf ohboy

i finally got rid of the cel all i did was clean the maf and reset the computer!!

what do you do that requires you to drive so much?? ALso, with those kind of miles I'm wondering about the tranny? What problems have you had with your tranny along the way to 230K???

no problems on the tranny, i rebuilt it twice change the clutch three times, twice because the treanny was out so i might as well change the clutch. people say that our engine and tranny are not really strong, how do they figure this out i dont know, but my engine is still running strong, i still beat civics and eclipses, not the new ones of course, the fast and furious style. i never had any problem except the cel which was most likely due to the maf. i know i said that i beat those cars but i have raced maaybe 5 times all togethter with my celica, it dosent mean i still dont push it. i use to drive in l.a. traffic, that require a lot of pressure on the engine, stop and go, cutting of epople,. i have to say this is one the best strongest cars out there! ill see you at the meet lucky_317

I have an '01 & have 200,000 KM on it. I have put a good beating on the machine since the day I picked it up. Good car, no complaints here.
