AWESOME car... our first one just came in today at toyota...black. looks really sweet...bmw front...g35 side with a mix in teh rear... i would have pics but didn't have a camera. anyway, i didn't get to drive it yet, but teh people say it drives like a lexus and is pretty quick with the camry motor in it.. i think it's going to sell REAL good compared to teh other two goofy things...the gauges on this thing look sooooooooooooooooooooo sweet...i want to drive a manual with a supercharger on it...which we're gonna get oh and some dude traded in a ZO6 vette with a body kit on it at chevy and we put it at toyota cause chevy is dumb...but the point is that it looks sooo awesome... anyway, the tC is reallllllllll nice...best band for teh buck...everything a celica gts has, except different motor and wayyyyyyyy cheaper.. go check them out

I prefer the looks of the celi... me too... but the tuner market is gonna be all over this car, its probally going to become the next civic - cheap, reliable, easily mod-able...

eh... i still would choose a 7th gen celica over this car. The name of the car "scion" sounds like a damn wussy car!

My manager at work just put an order in for one. Says hes gonna get the TRD supercharger for it when it comes out too. Not really my style, I'm more of a 2 door fan. But hey, its new, so props.

For a 17k price tag, and a solid 2.4 liter engine, and it doesnt look like a hyundai? I say its a good bang for the buck, especially if there is already a supercharger in the works.

i just drove the one we got cause my dad took it home... feels, handles, drives awesome...it's quick, but nothing compared to what i have or a GTS, a manual with supercharger is def gonna be sweeet... the seat can move like any other, but also up and down, like my wrx, so it accomodates height and how you like it... but the way the steering wheel feels and everything is just awesome...feels like a sports car.. steering wheel is small and compact so you have total control over it, as with the levers for signals and wipers... drives reallllll smooth, feels like a lexus...it's nice.

Frankly, I'd take that Z06 in the lot. Screw the Celica and Scion, got for some American Muscle!

is pretty quick with the camry motor in it.. does it have the 4 cyc camry motor or the v6 camry motor (cause the v6 is 3.3 liters, the same as the one in the sienna, if im not mistaken) and that thing would really haul ass, alone, and with a s/c and if it was a manual with a weight reduction, it would be an ultimate sleeper... maybe once the car is out full fledge and have a personal popular forum (scionlife.com) someone will reprogram the ecu for optimum controls...

has a 2.4. only 160hp/ and its kinda big and round like an old pacer. Theres a new silver one in at my toyota dealer, only thing I like is the rims. Its too tall and round, kind of corolla-ish.

saw this one while i was in san fran.. look like the new bmw if you just look fast and ur blind in one eye, i think it looks like a mini camry, basicly a camry with two doors (solara) except its much shorter, and cheaper, however they dont come convertible do they?? otherwise this could be a nice convertible, possibly to match miata (im not sure what to say), or one of the other lower class convertibles...

styling resembles a myriad of cars. taillights look like the tibby's and even the saturn l300. I also thought it resembled a tibby, but also had a civic look to it. Still looks nice

I like it. If I had to choose among the civic, corolla or TC, I would choose the TC. I saw one at my local dealership. It looks very nice in person. Plus, for the price, you get a lot of car and features that are only found in more expensive cars. The Scions are built to be modded. The aftermarket support is going to be huge.
Really BAD reality TV is the reason I stopped watching MTV.

I went and test drove a tc a few days ago. it was really nice. it was really responsive and smooth especially on the interstate. the clutch and the shifting felt a lot like the celica. i really liked it a lot. i even thought about trading. but, as cool as the scion tc is, the celica still looks better.
