Hello, I have a brand new red 2004 Celica GTS Action Package. It's beautiful but I want to put new wheels on it, the question is Chrome or silver? I tend to go towards silver but my boyfriend says Chrome. Is Chrome to "Bling" for a Celica? I love the Alessio Victoria wheel but it is impossible to find in 16". Any suggestions?? Help I need them soon. I will have pics soon, my car is in the process of being tricked out by the Auto house in Hayward, I can't wait to see it!!

none. go with black rims with polished lips. sexiest thing that its out now. btw if you wanna get rims, get something minimum 17 inch after paying money for it. bigger rims look better, 16 is gts stock, 17 or 18 will be the best

I would go for 17" but I don't want to worry about it effecting the ride or worry about the potholes. It does make a difference right?

To give you some idea, people have put up to 19" rims on our cars. Get anything EXCEPT for chrome in 17"

Apologies in advance for the newbish question; what is reason to worry more about potholes with 18's?

Apologies in advance for the newbish question; what is reason to worry more about potholes with 18's? when you have rims as big as 18's or bigger, chances are you'll have low profile tyres (35 or even 30) which means less tyre between the edge of a pothole & your nice rim. if you hit that pothole hard enough it is a bit more likely you'll do damage

Go 17". The roads here get chewed up by frost heave every winter and I don't have pothole problems.

Don't get chrome, unless you enjoy cleaning your wheels twice a day and risk using the wrong cleaner which could peel the chrome.

Thank you soooo much everyone for all your help. I am going with 17" Alessio Vittoria in Hyper black. You all convinced me 17" Hyperblack is the way to go. I can't wait to get them, thanks again. I will have pics soon!
